The first weekend in December is our annual "Trash Out Hunger" food drive to benefit our local food banks in Elbert County. More info will be provided as we get closer to that date.

Why must trash be bagged?
For efficiency, and Health & Safety reasons. It also lessens the chance of trash blowing out of the trucks and all over the neighborhood. Because it does get a bit windy here, loose trash doesn't always stay in the back of the truck. Bagging your trash, helps to keep it contained.

Can I pay my bill using a credit card/debit card?
Yes - we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.  We can do an occasional charge or set up the account for automatic withdrawal.  Contact our office for more information.

Why did you start charging a fuel surcharge?

After being in business for over 5 years, unfortunately the economy has forced us into this position.  The unpredictable rising cost of diesel fuel makes it very challenging for us to regain fuel costs in our standard operations.  Our residential trucks on route average 3 to 4 gallons of fuel per mile and our roll off trucks about 7.  Within the industry, there has also been a rate increase in environmental compliance costs, which we are not passing on to our customers.

If fuel prices go down, will the fuel surcharge change?

Yes, our every intention is to remove this charge from your invoice.  Yet, there needs to be a significant change in the national average diesel fuel prices based on the EIA Index.  The fee will either be reduced or deleted accordingly.

How can I access the EIA Index?

You can visit http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/wohdp/diesel.asp for weekly updated information.
