Roll-Off
Guidelines
In an effort to keep
our Roll-Off rates low we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
Maximum
weight limit is 5 tons (10,000 pounds) [30yd] or 3 tons (6,000 pounds) [20yd].
ALL LOADS MUST MEET DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS. If any damages
or fines against RT Services for the disposal of any waste deemed by the State
and/or Federal law, you the customer will be held responsible. There is also an
additional charge of $40 per additional ton for overweight loads.
* All items must fit completely into the
roll off and not above the top of the sill.
The roll off must be loaded level from front to rear. Over height loads will be charged according to
whatever means are necessary to correct the height restrictions.
* Dirt, rocks, gravel, cement and other
heavy debris is not to be loaded higher than 1/3 the tub depth.
NO
HAZARDOUS WASTE OR CHEMICALS ARE ALLOWED.
* Liquid paint can not be included. However, latex and oil based paint can be
left to air dry and solidify to solid waste.
One of the best methods is to simply mix equal amounts of paint with
kitty litter. Once the mixture is hard,
it may be placed in the roll off. If you
have a large amount of paint, you might consider disposal at your local
hazardous waste location.
*For sanitary reasons, animal feces should
be sealed/tied in double plastic bags.
* To prevent littering the streets,
Styrofoam packing materials (peanuts, balls, etc) must be enclosed in a
securely tied bag or placed inside a taped box or they will not be picked up
* WE WILL NOT REMOVE DEAD ANIMALS OR
CARCASSES OF ANY SIZE.
However, if this
service is needed, please contact our office as we have information regarding
companies who handle this sensitive removal.
* For public health and safety reasons, THE
FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED (including but not limited to)
hazardous waste, steel shavings, hot ashes, tires are charged an additional $10
per tire, batteries, liquid paint, motor oil, fuels, antifreeze, solvents,
pool/hot tub chemicals, explosives, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, compressed
tanks such as propane/helium/oxygen flammable materials, radioactive material,
pathogens, poisons, toxic waste, acidic
waste, , asbestos, biomedical waste such as needles and/or syringes or volatile
material. If any of the above listed
items are found in your containment, customer is subject to a $500 fine.
* All gates to access your property must be
opened on your delivery and pickup dates.
* You the customer are responsible for
vehicle extraction and/or recovery of any RT Service vehicles.
* Customer acknowledges that RT Services
shall not be liable for any damages to pavement, driveway, or any other driving
surface resulting from its vehicles servicing an agreed upon area.
* RT Services is released from any and
all liability for damages and/or injuries occurred by an individual using
and/or near the roll off. RT Services
will not be held liable for people “dumpster diving” or any one playing in
and/or around the roll off.
